The Restructuring of the IIPC Communication Area

The social isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which produced unprecedented social, economic, political and cultural repercussions and impacts, led to the suspension of the IIPC presential activities. This new reality demanded the search for alternative on-line activities, leading to need for strategic, management and operational changes. Thus, the article presents the digital and organizational transformation that took place in the Communication area from March 2020 to August 2021. The most relevant results of the restructuring were the implementation of the Collegiate of Communication, the increase in teamwork, the intensification of use of social networks, the use of new content marketing technologies and improved reception and expansion of assistance to pre-intermissivists and intermissivists.
